All residents are reminded of common courtesy in cleaning up after your pets. It is also important however to be familiar with the St. Johns County Animal Control Ordinances. The original Ordinance # 2012-34 can be accessed HERE, however this ordinance was repealed and replaced with Ordinance # 2015-68 on November, 10, 2015, it can be accessed HERE. The new ordinance contains provisions that may impact upon pet owner residents and everyone is encouraged to read it.

Be on the lookout for your 2016 HOA Dues statements which will be sent out by the Management Company in the next couple of weeks. You can pay your dues online if would like by clicking the below button. Late fees will be assessed if dues are not paid within 30 days.

We had our annual meeting on November 19, 2015. Although we did not have a quorum present we appointed a new Board member with the consensus of everyone in attendance. Congrats to Dawn X. Humphrey who now serves on the Board as our Vice President! The 2016 budget was also passed and is now posted in the documents section. Thanks to excellent planning by our Treasurer and Board, HOA dues will remain flat. There was also a presentation on State Road 313 by Steve Brennan. Because of the impact this road would have on all of our property values you are encouraged to visit the Stop SR313 webpage and sign the petition.

St. Johns County is seeking support from the State of Florida to build a needless six lane highway through pristine marshland that is estimated to cost well over 200 million dollars RIGHT IN OUR BACKYARDS!

The Board of the Mission Trace Homeowner's Association submitted a formal letter to FDOT expressing residents’ collective opposition to the continuing presence of the SR-313 project on FDOT's Five Year Work Program (2016/2017- 2020/2021).

All homeowners are encouraged to visit the Stop SR313 webpage, sign the petition, and send letters to our elected officials.

There is a vacancy on the Board due to a resignation. The vacancy will be filled by election at the required annual meeting, which is tentatively set for 11-17-14, 6:00pm, at the San Sebastian Church.

Anyone interested in running for this position please submit a Bio to Amanda at as@alsopcompanies.com no later than November 1. All submitted BIOs will be distributed with the meeting notice, agenda, and ballot.

We also have a vacancy for the Secretary position. The person serving in this officer position need not be a member of the BOD, so anyone interested in serving as Secretary, please send an e-mail or letter to Amanda.
